Yosemite Conservancy Watercolor Workshop

I taught a workshop for the Yosemite Conservancy June 16th to 19th. We had marvelous weather and a wonderful group of students. This view of Half Dome was one of our favorite painting sites, but we went to many others where we experienced stunning views in a relatively crowd-free environment. No mean feat in Yosemite National Park. The waterfalls—Bridal Veil and Yosemite—were both in good spate ( a term I learned recently to describe the water flow of a falls) and we painted both Bridal Veil and Upper Yosemite Falls. Students came up with some great work!
